Means LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Meer application and the meer.means.ai website (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).
Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to meer.means.ai and use of the Meer application, and explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.
We use your data to provide and improve Service. By using Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Service and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us (“agreement”).
Meer is designed with privacy in mind. The app streams your Mac screen over your local network and does not transmit data to external servers.
Data we do NOT collect: Screen content, SSH session data, terminal commands, keystrokes, or any content you view or type while using Meer.
Data we may collect: Basic analytics (app launches, crash reports) through Apple standard analytics if you have opted in via your device settings. We do not use third-party analytics services.
All screen streaming and SSH terminal data travels exclusively over your local network between your Mac and iOS device. This data never passes through our servers or any third-party infrastructure.
SSH usernames and passwords you enter are stored locally in your device Keychain. We never have access to these credentials.
Any anonymized analytics data collected through Apple is used solely to improve app stability and performance.
We do not retain any personal data on our servers. All user data remains on your devices.
We do not transfer your data to any third parties. All Meer functionality operates locally on your network.
SSH connections use industry-standard encryption. Screen streaming occurs only over your local network. Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, which uses hardware-backed encryption.
If you are a resident of the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights, covered by GDPR.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All data remains under your control on your local devices.

As we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, the California Consumer Privacy Act has minimal applicability. Should this change, we will update this policy accordingly.

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (“Children”).
