My iPhone cannot find my Mac
Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. The Mac host app must be running and broadcasting. Check that your firewall allows Bonjour (_meer._tcp) connections.
The stream is laggy
Meer works best on a strong local network. Move closer to your router, or use a 5GHz Wi-Fi band. Wired ethernet on the Mac gives the best results.
SSH connection fails
Ensure Remote Login is enabled on your Mac: System Settings → General → Sharing → Remote Login. Verify your username and password are correct.
The app crashes on launch
Make sure you are running macOS 26 / iOS 26 or later. Try deleting and reinstalling the app.
